cannot locate application distribution (?!) when creating application installer

I have an appliction called "RTSD" for which I have successfully created executables and installers before.

Just recently, I've made modifications to the program and created a new executable.  However, when I try to create a new installer I get errors.  For what it is worth, this is the first time I've tried to create an installer since upgrading to the Feb 2007 version of LabVIEW 8.2.1.

When I run the install generator, I get a dialog box asking me to:
    Locate the "RTSD" distribution.  LabWIEW needs to copy a
    component installed or updated by the distribution to continue
    building the installer.

<suggeted path>
    C:\LV_projects\builds\RTSD\RTSD_Install\Volume

"..\RTSD\RTSD_Install\Volume" is where previous intstalls have been created/dumped.

It's not even clear if it's looking for a file or folder.  If I give a file, it spits back the message:
    You cannot choose this folder name;
    a file of the name already exists.

If I hit the "Use Current Folder" button, I get a message in RED type:
    Invalid location for "RTSD".

When I cancel the build (for no answer seems to satisfy), I get the following "Possible reasons" message:
    LabVIEW cannot locate some components
    necessary to build the installer. The components
    are from the following distribution(s):

    Distribution name: RTSD
    Last known distribution path:
    C:\LV_projects\builds\RTSD\RTSD_Install\Volume

Why is it looking for a "distribution" of the same name as the application install it is creating?

Any help is appreciatied.

Thanks for the redirect.  It solved the problem.  (I did a search before posting, but I apparently I didn't ask the right question.)
