cRIO with wireless access point often losing connection

Hello,

I have cRIO NI9024 and I connected to the D-Link DAP-1360 access point. Everything seems to be ok but after a couple of minutes I get the error that the connection was lost.

Does somebody has the same problem with any access point and wireless connection? Do I have to set up wireless somehow special?

Thanks for any feedback.

Kamil

Hello Nemesis,

Can you give a bit more background information about the situation you are describing?

Is there code running on the cRIO?

If yes, what is the CPU usage of the cRIO while it's running.

If not, do you then see the error while connecting to it from NI MAX?

Thanks for your feedback!

Hello,

Thank you for feedback.

Yes there is a code on CRIO but I think there is not any problem with a code. With line connection I do not have any problem. There has to be something with access point obviously. I have just found that this type of access point has problem with dropping connection. At that moment I am checking it.

I changed the access point and now is working correctly. There was something about hardware. I found on the forum that people have amy problem with this model.
