cRIO 9074 static/dhcp ip resets to 0.0.0.0, cannot set any another ip

Hello,

I am following this document to set the static ip of cRIO-9074 to 10.0.0.2, subnet - 255.255.0.0

but after i hit save it asks for restart and i say yes, but after restart the static ip changes back to 0.0.0.0. i am unable to set its ip via DHCP also, stays 0.0.0.0.

i have booted into safemode, formatted the disk and also restarted with ip reset. nothing works

any ideas why its doing that?

Do you have the IP Reset dipswitch on or off?

What happens if you connect directly to the device with DHCP or link local as the option?

it stays 0.0.0.0

no change when i select DHCP.

spoke to NI rep, he said that particular cRIO might be faulty
