browse txt files on a url

on a certain url I want to browse all txt file and select one.
I understand this a combining the path and the filename where the path is given in a control and the filename is selected in the browser.
I have not succeeded to do it yet. However, if I remove
all controls the browser opens automatically and I can
paste the complete (path+filename) in and it works.

Hello Tom,

Are you using the Open/Create/Replace.vi to do this? If so, you can wire the pattern terminal with a constant *.txt and the start path terminal with the path you want to search for the files from.

If none of these suggestions help, or if Im not correctly understanding your issue, please reply with comments or answers to the discussion above and any additional information that may help, and Ill be happy to look further into it.

Have a nice day!

Thanks Robert!

I've tried your suggestion which sounds fine but I can't make it work.
I attach me test so you can see what I do wrong

Tom,

The Open/Create/Replace.vi will not work for internet addresses. You could do this using FTP if you have the Internet Toolkit. Do you want to open one of these text files, or open it in a web browser?
