Can someone show me how to implement an animated Valve opening and closing.

Hi Russellg,
you can use a picture control to animate it. The animation can be read from a gif file.

Not at this point .
All I need is a way of displaying the opening and closing of a valve.
I've looked at link, but did not quite follow it.
If there is an example VI of the opening and closing of a valve, could please point it out to me.

do you mean with "animation" more than two states? May be you only need a customized boolean control.
