acquiring microphone data in labview

Hello,

My name is Michael. I want to get microphone data into labview using the 3.5 mm jack connection on my laptop. I looked in daqmax and couldn't see the mike. Is it possible to get this data into labview? Any help will be great.

And did you notice the "Graphics and Sound" Palette on the Block Diagram functions?  LabVIEW Help is also a good tool to learn to use.
