Hello everyone,
I have a couple questions.
I want to use Labview to communicate to a VFD through Modbus. I was told I need to download a MODBUS library for Labview and I was referred to the following link; http://www.ni.com/example/29756/en/
I clicked on the README link for the file and saw this;
Question 1) Would I be able to use the MODBUS library on Version 15.0.1 of Labview?
If so;
Question 2) What folder would I chose to run the library? Would it be "86" because that would theoretically be the latest version?
Thank you in advance!

Pick the 8.6 version.
Once you install it. (And it is more of a copy to vi.lib rather than install.) Go ahead and run it. It will ask you to save VI's because it will automatically update them to whatever version of LabVIEW you opened.
Or you could use a Mass Compile from the Tools > Advanced menu and let it work on the .llb file. Only takes a minute and will update all of the VI's in that library to your current LabVIEW version.
