Why isn’t active an event structure with a True/False Result Boolean?

Why bellow block diagram isn't work? and Boolean never is True?

The events from controls (and indicators) are triggered by user interactions. As you update the indicator with a local variable, no user interaction takes place. There is however a way to simulate a user interaction, you can use a property node of the indicator and set the 'Value (signaling)' property.
