This may be difficult due to the size of your code but can you try using Highlight Execution and see what is going on during the hang? How long is the hang? If you have the Desktop Execution Trace module that might help isolate the problem, you can download a free trial on ni.com and give that a spin.

Disable your EXIT button until you have moved all you need into (or out of) loop 3.
