Why can't code when deploying exe ?

Hello,

I wonder what is the reason to block user wfom coding when program is beeing compiled into exe?

Wouldn't be good to allow user work during that process, sometimes it takes along time to finish and we have to stare in brogress bar...

I don't know if there's a specific techincal reason for it (although I'm assuming there is), but if you want NI to change it at any point, you should probably vote for this: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Idea-Exchange/Allow-users-to-continue-working-when-a-build-is-in-pro...

Also, if you read the comments there you can see some options for what you can do today.
