Where is the template for a dynamic VI?

Whenever I create a dynamic VI in a class, the block diagram comes up with a spacing of 12, even though I have it set differently in the Options. This is terribly annoying. I can fix it manually for each VI, but I'd like to just fix it once and be done with it. I expect these are created based on a .vit somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where the parent template is?

i searched for all *.vit (Tools -> Find VIs on disk). i think

...\LabVIEW 8.2\resource\Framework\Providers\LVClassLibrary\CLSUIP_MemberTemplate.vit

is what you are looking for.
