WTH is an I32 precision?

I went ahead and created CAR 407586 regarding the behavior where the display format types are not grayed out correctly after changing the data type through the properties window.

I did not create a CAR for the integer having digits of precision since there are valid use cases where a user might want the visual impression of decimal points but has integers on the back end (currency as an example). A change like that would have too much potential to affect existing user code, and the controls function correctly even if they do have extra meaningless digits.

Thanks for the heads up! I linked the CARs and closed the duplicate I just created.

I had done a search for similar CARs, but had not seen that one.
