Vector Processing on Intel platform with LabVIEW

I am very interested in the vector routines that intel has for optimizing processing.  I know someone who is using these within a visual basic signal analysis and image formation code and he has seen DRAMATIC increase in speed (he claims orders of magnitude).  I wanted to know if anyone has an example of how they have done this on the intel processor using LabVIEW.

Sincerely,

Don

Hi,

I am not entirely sure what are you looking for...vector computations or signal analysis or image formation. May be I have completely missed the point of your post. Would you please elaborate on what kind of example you are looking for and I will try to point you in the right direction.

Regards,

Ankita

Here are some links that I think address what I am thinking of.  I am wondering if there is a way in LabVIEW to take advantage of the these capabilities to optimize speed of calculations.

Hi Don,
Sounds like a job for LabVIEW's Call Library Function.  Seems as though DLLs are available (& free, for Linux.)
For an evaluation version of Intel's "Math Kernel Library", I went here:

Hope it helps.

... and apologies for the multiple replys.  It comes from [years of] hitting the Tab key to indent.  Of course, here, tab once and "Submit Post" is selected!

Prost!
