Using LabVIEW with NI VeriStand

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I'm trying to use Labview with NI Veristand, when I follow the white paper here:

http://www.ni.com/white-paper/11135/en

I do not see the same menu as detailed in step 4 (NI veristand is not listed in the menu - see attachment). I have NI Veristand installed on my computer.

Do I need to install an additional add-on?

Is your VeriStand version newer than the LabVIEW version?

It could be some versioning discrepancies, perhaps?

Try putting the VI's in a project.

I'm running Labview 2011 SP1 & Veristand 2011 SP1.

In what order did you do the install?

Installing VeriStand before LV could be a problem.

I got the same version(s) of VS and LV that you got, and that menu alternative is avaliable for me.

Thanks Roger - I installed Veristand and then Labview, this could be my problem I will try and uninstall / reinstall in a different order.
