I always make sure mine are differential, not single ended.
Just make sure they still have a good reference to ground

Good idea! That way you don't have problems with ground loops causing race conditions. 😉

This is brilliant. Now I finally have an objective way to measure my productivity. I'm up to 77m of wire on this project.

Maybe it should also send you a text message if less that 10% of wire is remaining on your spool. This way you ca re-order and avoid downtime. 😄
