Unable to find HDL Interface Node

Solved!
Go to solution

I have MyRio and LabView 2014 with all the modules installed and updated.

Xilinx 2014 is also installed and I can compile for FPGA.

However in block diagram I can't find HDL interface Node for importing VHDL code. As you see in the second screenshot.

How may I solve this issue?

Try searching for it by clicking on the search button on the functions pallete or by pressing control+spacebar.  You can also change your visible palletes to all and browse that way.  Good luck.

I can find IP integration node. However I'm looking for HDL Interface Node as it is mentioned in the following whitepaper:

http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3483/en/

I think the functionalities are the same. Maybe NI has replaced the HDL interface Node with IP Integration Node?

The is no IP integration node in LabView 2014. Instead use HDL Interface Node.

Yes I did use HDL Interface Node and it worked great.

I know this thread is really old but just to help clear things up from aan928's confusing solution for anyone else who comes across this forum post:

The HDL Interface Node was replaced with the IP Integration Node beginning with the LabVIEW 2010 FPGA Module.
