Turn on off a strip led connected to MyRIO

Hi everyone!

I have a problem..I want to turn off and on a strip led RGB (like the one on the picture) connected to MyRIO.

I've already connected the 12v cable to +15v pin and the green cable to DIO0 pin and it turns green but I don't be able to turn it off.

How could I do using Labview?led-strip-flexibel-rgb-30-leds-m-per-50cm.jpg

I believe the +15V line is always going to be on.

You can connect it to one of the DIO lines and control that using something like this ( http://www.ni.com/tutorial/5372/en/#toc3 ) , but that will only be +5V, so probably not enough for your LED.

Thanks for your answer!

The video is very clear but I should connect the strip led to MyRIO, not to MyDAQ so I have different commandsSmiley Sad

I can't find other useful tutorials..

Oops, myRIO doesn't support DAQmx. Sorry about that.

Here is a tutorial on using the myRIO toolkit. Seems like the myRIO software comes with some Express VIs to control Digital Output:
