Trying to add a "new target or device," but the sbRIO 9607 is not listed

Solved!

Hello,

Just upgraded to LabVIEW 2015 and CompactRIO 15.0.

Also used the NI Update Service to install bug fixes for LabVIEW 2015 and CompactRIO Device Drivers.

I am attempting to add a target in LabVIEW from the 'Add targets and devices' window. I select "new target or device" and expand the sbRIO options. I see a bunch of targets, but unfortunately the sbRIO-9607 does not show up. It's just not listed.

Thoughts? When I get back in the office on Monday I will try a repair of the driver.

Best,

Dan

Now at the office with the hardware, I try to "discover an existing target(s) or device(s)"... when I expand Real-Time Single-Board RIO, I see:

"NI-sbRIO-9607-[serial number] (Link-local IP Address)

"This device is not supported by your LabVIEW environment."

That's bizarre because before I performed the updates recommended by NI Update Service, I was able to target code to this device and run it.

Well, this is embarrassing, but I'm sure I'm not the first and won't be the last to make this mistake.

I had accidentally opened LabVIEW 2014 SP1 instead of LabVIEW 2015.

Of course it works in LabVIEW 2015. Congratulations if you guessed this might be the problem.
