Trouble with Writing to spreadsheet file

Hi GerdW, yes, I'm reading the string from myRIO. But, I've also tried reading using the basic random number, the data is not getting in the spreadsheet as well.

again: the myRIO does NOT have access to your PCs harddrive!

You need to store the file on the myRIO harddisc (or flash drive) and copy it over to your PC! And you need to use a file path which is valid on your myRIO!

I have same problem, but when I change the path to flash drive like you said,it still doesn't work,

Which path do you (try to) use then?

Does your RIO RT target have any D:\ drive?

I use G:\ , it is in my flash drive. outside my PC harddrive.

Hi Awan,

as has been said several times before: a RT (RIO) target does NOT have access to any drive connected with your host computer!

You need to choose a file path available on your RT target - most probably something starting with "c:\"!
