Trouble updating LabVIEW 7.1 files to LabVIEW 8.

I have a large application that was written in LabVIEW 7.1 and I've been trying to get them to run in LabVIEW and having alot of headaches.  I think I've isolated the problem to a "general error module" but can't figure out what the specific error is.  Any suggestions?

I hope you are doing well today! Did you mass compile your VI's before running them? Here are some KBs which can help you with that:

If you are still facing some issues, it would be great if you can post some VIs online; so we can have a look at them and investigate what the problem is.
