Good Morning, I have a program which is used to acquire the images through laptop web camera. I want to create a sub vi of this program and use it in another program. When I tried to edit the icon to make a terminal to select my camera it is not accepting. It says it is default "cam0". Need help to create the terminal for choosing the camera. Thanking you.
I think this is because in the "session" terminal you can only chose a camera that is currently detected, what you can do thought is use a string control instead of the "IMAQ session ring", if you link a simple string control to the IMAQ configure VI I believe it will accept it and if the string value correspond to an existing camera name it will work.
