Tektronix/Sony AFG320 function generator

Hi all

I am able to generate an  arbitrary wavefrom(Rectangle wave) with an amplitude 1. But when i am trying to change the amplitude to higher values, i am getting an error "waveform data is out of range". I tried to with the amplitude modulation vi but it has only external source. Is it possible to change the amplitude to highet values? If so how it could be done. Any information would be greatly helpfull.......thankyou in advance

Hi Pratheek

I had a look at the VI documentation (Ctrl+I in Tab Documentation). There is standing:

The Yokogawa FG3x0 requires that the defined arbitrary waveform span the range of -1.0 to 1.0.  Make sure that the defined waveform not only contains values within this range, but must also contain values at the end points (-1.0  and 1.0).

--> It is not possibnle getting a amplitude greater than 1.

Best Regards, Fabian

Hi,

Looks like someone used the Yokogawa VI and changed it for the Tek AFG320. Very confusing.
