Take a snapshot of a specific area of an image

Is there a way for me to take a snapshot of the area of the image found by the color pattern match?

I want to use the color pattern match, found in the vision assistant.

I wish to use this image in another part of my process, without having to save it in the hdd, and if I have to save it to disk, I want this image to be replaced.

Can anyone give me some examples on how to do this, because I'm new to this and don't know where to start.

Thanks!

Hello Nando88:

Actually the LabVIEW Vision Development Module already has an example on how to use the Color Pattern Matching function. You can find it in the example finder in Toolkits and Modules>>Vision>>Color>>Color Pattern Matching.vi

By the way, there is a discussion forum board that is especifically for Vision questions, you can post your question there so more people working on similar applications can view the post and help you out:
