Speeding up a while loop

HI 🙂

I have a motor being controlled by labview but i cant the program to stop the motor quick enough. Ideally i would like the motor to switch off instantaneously as it is critical to the application but there is a dealy of up to 10 seconds. Does anyone have an iddea on how to do this. i was trying to increase the rate at which the while loop executed but this hasn't made any huge difference so i might be doing it wrong. I have attached the VI if it helps anyone help me!!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Actually mgarvey,
there is not stupid thing when it comes to programming.
No one will ever laugh at mistakes that are made because we all made them.
And in some cases, still making them... especially if it's "one of those weeks"..

The added benefit of sharing the info is to assist someone else who is having one of those weeks... 😉
