Some doubtful questions in LabVIEW Fundamentals Exam

1.Probes on the front panel can be attached to:
A. Controls
B. Indicators
C. Graphs
D. None of the above.
 
2.When should Tasks be used in a DAQmx application?
A. If you want to perform channel acquisitions in a distinct order.
B. If you want to sample channels with similar scaling.
C. If you want to sample channels wirh similar timing and triggering.
D. None of the above.
 
3.When is the best place to adjust the gain for a DAQ channel?
A. the Gain input terminal of the DAQ Assistant.
B. Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX).
C. the Input Specifications when setting up the DAQ Assistant.
D. the Set Gain VI, located in the DAQmx palette.
 
I am not sure which answer is the correct one, who can provide some advising answer for those questions? Thanks!

For the first question, is it possible for probes to be attached to indicators?
 
In LabVIEW 7.1 and LabVIEW 8.0, I can right click a wire and select "Custom probe>>Controls" to specify a indicator to display the value of the wire.

Yes you can but it not attached to any front panel control or indicator, it is attached to the wire on which you created it from.

1.the best method to pass data between same vi

a.wire

b.global variable

c.local variable

2.what is offset past match o/p node of match pattern vi

a.index of i/p string of first char of the aftersubstring o/p node

b.index of the next match relative to the previous match in input string if multiple matches exist.

c.index of the next match relative to the first char in i/p string if multiplematch exist.

d.index in i/p string of the first char of match sustring output node

I am very new to LabVIEW, but question 1 is definitely a wire, because of the data flow principle and question 3 is definitely b, the data flow principle.

 

BTW: the question with the probes on the front panel is nasty 😉

How can we  use software(VI) designed in Labview to a system which doesn't have Labview.........

i know this is basic question ....have tried making an Exe file also an installer but none of them worked!!!!
