Scrolling image graph

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

I would like to be able to add annotations (for example, short pieces of text) to specific locations on waveform graph.  For example, I want to label "Peak1", "Peak2" etc.  I'd then like these annotations to scroll/zoom with the graph (particularly horizontal scroll).

I've attached a screenshot of how I'd like it to look - the labels (A,B,C,D) should scroll with the corresponding peaks when I scroll the graph.

I could convert my graphs into a pict, then add the annotations to the pict; but is there a more elegant way to label features directly on a waveform graph?  (One added complexity - the graph has multiple plots; I don't mind if my annotations are associated with one or with all (or none) of the plots, as long as the annotations appear in the right place).

Thanks for your insights!

Paul

Hello PaulHDear,

add cursor to your graph and in the property select show cursor name.

Hi Sabri -

Damn - why didn't I think of that 🙂  Thanks!!

one question: is there any limit to the number of cursors that a graph can have?

Hi PaulHDear,

I would say more than you could ever use in a graph 😉
