SPI with a Continous Clock

I am currently using the PXIe 6556, and I need to generate SPI waveforms where the SPI clock runs continuously.  So if I write some data to the MOSI only once, and change the state of SSO during that time, the SPI clock should run continuously and uninterrupted, and the MOSI data should only write once. Would anyone have any suggestions in how to do this with the 6556 or can point me in the right direction? Any suggestions are welcome...
