I am looking for a relay module (such as 9485) that could be setup as a SPDT (single pull-double throw) relay; 9485 appears to be only a SPST relay. Would NI have module or other equipment (for a CDAQ system) that would operate/could be setup as a SPDT; another possiblity would be to develop a relay board but I would prefer not to do that. The only relay modules I see are 9485 and 9481 but they are both SPST.
Thanks
Alex

you can connect to 2 spst relays together with a common input, but you will have to use 2 controls to output one or the other signal through common...

Not cDAQ and not NI examples with LabVIEW:(

This could work; we could use a DIO from a DAQ to toggle the relay switch.
Thanks!

You will need a buffer or driver between the digital ouput and the relay to provide enough current to actuate the coil.
Google ULN2003, a single chip solution that has the back EMF diode built in.
