Reducing ROI of an image!!!!! Assistance Required

Hello folks,

i am back with  a doubt.

i am comparing two images for an image processing application, i have also attached the vi that i have made.

The issue is that i want to reduce the ROI of  both the images so that my pattern match can  be more specific..

As usual i have no clue as to achieve it . i shall be grateful if i can get some help

Hi Jalashwa,

Good day to you. You can start off by looking at the example VI. There is an example for pattern matching called Pattern Matching Example.vi. Use the example finder to look for it. In the example you can see that the property node is used to set the ROI of the image. Probably you can modify this VI to make it simpler for your application.

two common ways or analyzing images on smaller ROI subsets is to do an extract image (extracks smaller portion of image into new image space) or to creat a mask and perform your analysis within a masked region.
