Hi All,
I am doing real time feedback control (PID) using LabVIEW 2012 sp1 on a NI PXIe - 1073 system with an NI PXI-7851r board.
This program has to control the up/down movement of Z-piezo in atomic force microscope (AFM). Which is the best way to apply the PID to this setup?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Alex,
This White Paper shows lots of great details about how to implement PID control in LabVIEW. It is a great starting point.
Here is a the documentation to a sample RIO project that contains PID control.
These are great starting points. The built in PID.vi is really great and easy to use.
What do you need our team of experts to assist you with?
Thanks!
We'll be in touch soon!
