Dear Pavel,
The VI you provided is excellent, but is it possible to read episodic files as well? I've been trying to read non gap-free abf files (like series of episodic responses periodically) but failed, as the givien VI concatenates the sweeps.

Hello! As I remember different type abf file have a little different structure... Try to solve you problem with standart driver that you can download on the site NI.

Dear pavel,
I came back to the problem of reading pClamp *.abf files under LabView. When running Read ABF.vi I found the following error (see below). Do you now by any chance where could I find the missing file or what's wrong?

Hi everyone!
I could open the abf file using simple_read_abf.zip code: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5979
Now i want to save the file in simple text file: .txt
Anyone can help?

Hello. "Read ABF.vi" and "Write ABF.vi" need "ABF Files.lvlib". I can't find the lvlib. Has it been posted somewhere?
