Is there something wrong with my VI? I just did the part where you have to search for one direction only once and not again. Still on a verge on learning LV.

looks confusing (lots going on)?

this loop builds an array of random numbers 0-3 (north-south-east-west) and only adds to the array if it is not duplicated and conditionally stops having all four directions (size 4 array). but of course, this may be "lots going on" for LV veterans (waiting for Altenbach to come up with something simple/easier)  Smiley Surprised    ...still learning here!  Smiley Wink

It's probably not the most efficient thing around- but why reinvent the wheel?

Christina-

Have you looked at LabVIEW's example maze vi yet? That probably gives you the whole enchilada.

Guys,

Anyone of you has any idea on how to implement random search this method into this vi?

Many thanks.
