Yes i did read about it but i use Linux and have some problem open to download and open up files so i have to do it manually.

something you should learn in LabVIEW 101 course:
You pick an array indicator. Then you pick a string indicator and drop it into the array indicator. Now you "magically" created a string array indicator.
I really advise you to go through all those FREE online courses offered by NI. You seem to need that…
The minimum knowledge I expect from someone using LabVIEW to create programs is to read the first chapters of the LabVIEW help!

I have watched a lot of YouTube videos but it did not help me in this case. As you say if you put a string indicator into an array magic will happen but i cant find anyting called array indicator and can not recreate your pink string arary indicator that way.

I find the string indicator but not the array indicator. I use LV2009 maybe thats the problem?

Huh strange. How come i cant find it. Cant even fint it when i search for array indicator...

Hello GerdW,
It might be that he is litterally searching for "array indicator".
This will not give any results in a default LabVIEW Palette.
He should better search for "array" and then drop his "string indicator" in the array shell on the Front Panel.
