Hi snlrthd,

My name is Jonathan & I work in the Applications Engineering Department. I understand you are having issues detecting your Spartan 3e board.

Do you have NI MAX installed on your PC? Also do you have the specific drivers for the spartan 3e installed?

The following link may be helpful to get you started:

Cheers

Is this an NI board that has a Spartan 3e on it?  What model?

LabVIEW FPGA will only work with boards made by NI.  You can't use it to program some arbitrary FPGA, even if it is one that NI uses in one of their boards.

Hi snlrthd,

Unfortunately, you don't have the correct driver installed, as there isn't one for LabVIEW 2013. The latest board support package NI provides was released with LabVIEW 2012 SP1, and can be found here: http://www.ni.com/gate/gb/GB_INFOLVFPGAXILSPRTN/US.

More information about the Spartan XUP board can be found here: Using LabVIEW FPGA with the Xilinx SPARTAN-3E XUP Starter Kit

Cheers!
