Problems with LabVIEW 7.1 and lock-in amplifier Stanford SR530?

My problem is to get the data out from the divice x and y readings . Can you help me

Here is the code and snippet. I had it from before. It reads Channel 1 and Channel 2 from the SR530, that is whatever the display is for Channel 1 & 2. You set the display manually or programmatically, I let you figure that part out. Smiley Wink

Thank you for your effort .
I got the readings from ch 1 and ch 2 but it is different from that appear on the device . I think I had a problem related to the time delay and the bit length . If I send the program to you can you gave me a hand to fix .
Thank you

If you post the vi, I can take a look when I have time.

What is the difference between the display and the downloaded data exactly? What is the time constant of the lock-in?

If the device reading is -13.65 for ch 2 . It appears -3.65 or -3 or -0.65 on the program the time constant is 100 msec

It sounds like there is a parsing error with the downloaded data. Without looking at the code, I cannot offer any suggestions.

Because you have the time constant set to 100 ms, there may be slight differences between what you see on the display and what is downloaded; it depends on the internal update rate in the lock-in.

Hi,

Hope you are well.

I met the same problem as you mentioned. The MAX could find the address while the error code is always -1073807339 as I send the command. I did not get any value from both Channel 1 and Channel 2.

May I know the Labview version you used and "SW1:GPIB Mode Switches" and "SW2:RS232 Mode Switches" of your SR 530?

By the way, have you added a 270 pF capacitor in your SR 530 as suggested from Official website?

Best regards,

Shuen Wei
