Hi,
I'm using LabVIEW 8.2 and trying to synchronize the clokc of my computer with the NIST server using NTP protocol. I've come across this link posted on zone.ni.com which deals with how to set the date and time i.e. Set Date and Time on PC, PXI, and PXI-RT using DAYTIME protocol (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/2438)
But when I try to run the vis in this llb package, it asks for RT Set Date and Time vi missing.
Is this vi not present in my LabVIEW kit. From where can I get it...Or is there any alternative sloution simply to synchronize the time and date ofa computer with any of the NIST servers whic use NTP protocol without the use of this partivular vi...
I'm also attaching the llb package which I downloaded from the above link for the convenience
Looking forward for the earliest hep
Thanks & Regards,

The example you are trying to use is for Real Time (RT). The files it is looking for are to set the time and date on a Real Time target. You can try this example instead:
http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-1232
I haven't been able to effectively try it; it is blocked by our firewall and proxy where I work. Also, it may not work on the NIST timeservers as it uses the DAYTIME protocol, which I believe they are phasing out. I'm still trying to find an example which uses the NTP protocol. I hope this works for you. There's a list of timeservers here:

Good luck,
