Problem in installation of DSC Module 2016

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi

I am trying to install LabVIEW 2016 64-bit on my windows 10 64-bit.

the problem is: although labview is installed and working perfectly, when I try to install DSC module an error appears and states that LabVIEW is not installed!!

Both LabVIEW and DSC module installation files are downloaded from NI site and are the latest version (release: August 2016)

I checked an article in NI site on windows 10 compatibility (article date: July 2016)

It says 32-bit version of DSC Module is supported on 64-bit-Win10, but in the download section there is no option to select DSC 32 or 64 bit!

The DSC module is supported on a 64-bit OS but not using 64-bit LabVIEW so make sure you have 32-bit LabVIEW installed.

Hi mrider,

A number of things could be going wrong here, but my first guess would be that there's an issue with your LabVIEW installation. I would recommend you try repairing the installation, then trying a force reinstall if that doesn't work. I'll link to a download as well as instructions on how to perform each of these steps.

This thread is almost a year old, and the software configuration of the original poster is different from yours. I would recommend creating a new thread for your specific question, as it's more likely to get noticed and addressed.
