Problem by acquiring data from Fluke Norma 5000

You can use this driver for the TCPIP-connection as well.

In the description file to the driver you can find how to initialize the TCPIP with VISA.

in my case it was

TCPIP0::192.168.1.101::23::SOCKET

where 192.168.1.101 is the IP from Norma.

(the pdf-file you can download here:

Hi there!

Did you manage to connect with GPIB?? I am having the same problem. NI Max can't recognize my Fluke Norma 4000.... Please write me if you've found the solution.

Thanks!

It was a couple years ago, but I can remember, it worked properly with Norma-driver.

If you have more than one device connected over GPIB you have to be sure devices have different ID's.

Did you select the right connection type of Norma ?
