Problem Installing LabView

I am trying to install LabView ver. 8.5 for the first time.  The installation procedure is telling me to put in the disk labeled National Instruments Device Drivers - August 2008 Disk 2.  However I do not have a disk with that name.

I have 4 DVDs, three are labeled NI Developers Suite (disks 1-3) and the other is labeled NI Device Drivers Third Quarter 2008.  However, that disk doesn't make the install process happy.  How can I fix this??

Hi Rich,

You're not the first to run into this.  If you insert DVD 4 you can point the installer to the directory named "DCD-Aug08-2" and it should be happy.   It'll almost definitely ask for additional driver discs, but they'll be on DVD 4 every time.

I hope it helps...

Regards,

Jim
