Hello,
can someone suggest any books for a complete beginner in
a.) LabView and
b.) TestStand
(I mean a separate book for each product.)
Is there something that i can buy in normal bookshops or is there a online-shop of NI?
Or are there no books to buy, only online-help?
Thanks for all tips.

Hi,
I haven't found any books about TestStand yet. As far as I know there are just NI's training material books and the online / pdf books shipped with TS.
For LabVIEW I know a good book for beginners, which also describes basic things in programming, but it is only available in German - does it help?

I started a LabVIEW wiki on the topic. Once things slow down a little I will improve it.

There has been some discussion on the LAVA forum and some information is on their wiki.

Regarding TestStand, there is indeed not much material besides the NI training classes and documentation files.
I find the following source very useful, but it requires a basic knowledge already:
TestStand Advanced Technical Series.
hope this helps,
Norbert
PS: This series is now about 5 years old, so some information might not be accurate regarding the newest TS version.
