Pressure Transducer Scaling Certificate

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello

My pressure transducer has the following calibration certificate:

pressure (PSIG)                 Unit Data (mVdc)

---------------------                   ---------------------------

          0                             -0.275

     100                              49.824

      200                              99.774

      100                              49.844

         0                              -0.264

Balance     -0.275 mVdc

Sensitivity:  100.049 mVdc

Calibration Factors:

Sensitivity = 20.01 mV/V

the excitation voltage = 5 VDC  will give an output from 0-100 mV

I will use the DAQ assistance to make the pressure measurement.

the question is:  What should be the two electrical and two physical values (IN mV/V Units) that I need to enter in the DAQ assistance wizard when scaling the pressure transducer by the two points method. Again please specify the values in mV/V Units.

Thanks

wisjaf12,

You can choose any of two points at your convenience.

For example: First Value: 49.824 Second Value: 99.774. (Electrical). First Value: 100 Second Value: 200. (Physical)

Thank you. and if I want the electrical values in mV/V I just need to devide them by 5V which is the excitation voltage. is that correct??
