Play waveform

Dear All,

I am trying to generate a number of different signals via playwaveform subvi. It works with me, but the problem is in the sound that I hear is not continous. Attached the VI (LabVIEW 2011, Windows 7).

There are two options for you, in order to play the continuous sound.

1. Call the 'Play Waveform.vi' continuously in the loop. (Recomended)

2. Increase the 'Block size' parameter in the 'Output Signal Test.vi'

Yes, Increasing the block size reduces the discontinuity in the output signal. I tried also to put play waveform in a while loop but it doesn’t make any affect. I would appreciate if you can save the edited file made by you for older (LabVIEW 2011) version.

You can refer/study the 'Sound' pallete (with help files and examples) in order to do better job.
