Given that the thread dates from 2006, seems like that approach has been working for many LabVIEW versions and will probably continue to do so.

How do I make it so that a Listbox gives me the data entry cursor when it gets key focus? Right now, when I try this it just puts a rectangle around the whole listbox and I can't enter data without clicking inside the listbox.
