Passing of variable name to switch LEDs

That works better except now it can't find Get Boolean.vi, in the Button Check.vi...

Ahhhhh. Here is a manually generated library with my button checking VIs. Why is it that it can work fine here and not there?

The problem seems to come from having calls to the same VI from different levels of the VI tree. When I create a development distribution, links are broken. I'll bounce this one off of the NI engineers.

That works.

Let us know what the engineers come up with.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the example. However when i tried to do some modification it keeps giving me an error at Set Boolean.vi, saying invalid parameter input. I merely input some string constant at Control Name and they prompt me this error. Why?? Is it because data string not compatiable?? Help!!!

Hi June,
I have the same problem, that is switching on particular LED (on front panel) using variable name. Were you able to solve your problem? If so, can you pass on a sample code.

Thanks!
