PCI-6036E not recognized

Solved!
Go to solution

I have a PCI-6036E board currently running under LabView 6.  I am upgrading to DAQmx (eventually under LabView 2014 but starting with LabView 8).  I got a new computer running Windows 7 Professional and loaded my LabView 8 onto it.  I installed the PCI-3036E board but MAX does not recognize that it is there.  I refreshed (F5) but still does not recognioze it.  In Windows, Device Manager recogonizes the board and says that the latest drivers are installed.  Why doesn't LabView recognize it?

What version of DAQmx do you have installed?

Neither that old version of DAQmx or LabVIEW are supported on Windows 7. Why don't you go ahead and install LabVIEW 2014 and DAQmx 14?

The new LabView is ordered but not here yet.  I will wait.  Thanks for your help.
