Looking for Examples of DAQ interface to a ttl optical encoder connected to motor shaft.
I need to have instantaneous display of speed and position once a home reference is established. using NI 6052E
2 counters and 8 Digital I/O available Im using someting similar to a HS25 Incremental Optical Encoder
If there are any good examples that could be modified in LabVIEW ID be interested in seeing them
I've not done this before at this level of detail with a DAQ card. Ususlly I d just buy an encoder and let it handle the details
but this time I will dive in and try to learn something.
I'll be looking at the LabVIEW examples as I wait for any response
