Open a worksheet, a chart, and automate all in the same workbook after saving data to an excel file

Dear all,

I'm saving data to an Excel workbook but I have diiferent sets of data for eg. pressure readings, temp readings etc.  What I would like to do is to write the temp data to temp worksheet and the pressure data to press worksheet and I would also like to automate and generate charts from that data automatically.  Does anyone know how to do this?  I'm using ActiveX but I could go only so far - I really need some serious insight.  Every help is appreciated.  Thank you.
