Not able to use snippet in my LabVIEW Environment

While i am trying to drag and drop code snippet to my LabVIEW BD only the link gets copied in my BD and the same happens in my FP too.

Not able to get information from the below post.

http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/snippet-to-code-gt-don-t-work-if-LV-started-as-admin/m-p/2042848#M66...

Do i need to change any settings in my System?

I faced this issue also. Sometimes saved the snippet to local and then drag and drop of snippet works.
Thanks

Hmm, strange this should work. So first save the snippet for example into your Documents folder, and then open the folder. After this a drag&drop operation should work.

And I agree it is annoying that a drag&drop does not work from browser into a BD. As much as annoying as I cannot attach a VI to a forum post using Firefox. Always need to open Chrome or IE only for this operation, very dumb 😄

Hi Blokk,

see this thread on problems uploading different file types to the forum.

After more than 2 years of complaints I got a solution with help from Lili…

Best regards,

THANKS! 🙂 I just had to reset the second preference (the 1st was not present), and I am able to post VI! 😄  From here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/Feedback-on-NI-Discussion-Forums/Problems-uploading-a-ZIP-file/m-p/3241156/h...

Sorry PalanivelT for hijacking! 🙂

I also cannot drag&drop from Firefox into BD, so I also provide versions here:

Firefox 48.0.2

Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 x64
