No DAQ Assistant shown

Hello All!

1. we are using Labview 2011.

2. For data acquisation through NI-4472 but "DAQ ASSISTANT" is not shown in labview>>express>>input or output as shown in attachement.

3. To cop up the problem we reinstalled labview no of times.

There is no problem with LabVIEW, you need to install DAQ drviers from the drivers cd.

Yes, all DAQ drivers are installed properly.

as shown in the image , your Daq version is 8.6.0 which is not compatible with LabVIEW 2011 you need to reinstall the Daq drivers with the version that is compatible with your LabVIEW version.

After checking your giver link,we download and installed the following.

1. NIDAQ940f5
2. NIDAQ940f5Config

After that DAQ Assistant appeared but we have now following problem shown in attachments Daqmx1,DAQmx2 & DAQmx3.

Remote Target drivers configuration shown in attachments, MAX 1 of 2 & MAX 2 of 2.

DAQmx isn't going to see insturments on remote systems unless you have the target in a project and the VI you are editing is listed under that target.

But all the channels of NI-4472 are accessible & configure in MAX version 5 when we boot RT Target as PC using windows XP.

we want to run application as shown in attachment.

kindly guide me how can we get rid of current problem and take measurment in this way.

Hi, sorry to interrupt but I have encountered a similar problem. I am new to the use of this DAQ systems, so far I have installed LabView 2011 and NI-DAQmx 15.1 I believe. What happens is that my laptop (operating with Windows 😎 recognizes properly my NI-6210 Board and I can test it with no trouble using the Test device function in the NI-DAQmx 15.1 driver. The issue appears when I want to include an instrument in LabView and select the channels of adquisition to use for the project. The device doesn't appear neither the block DAQ assistant in the Express tag.

I would really appreciate your help with this.

So, you didn't look at the readme before downloading and installing 15.1 did you?
