Hi Spiro1,
Keep in mind that upgrading a VI or LLB from one LabVIEW version to another is not entirely seamless - especially when the jump is as big as LabVIEW 5.0 to 8.5.
In order to successfully upgrade your VIs from one LabVIEW version to another, both versions need the same drivers. For example, if your original VIs involve the Traditional DAQ driver, they won't load into a later version of LabVIEW correctly if you only have DAQmx installed on the newer version.
If you want your VIs saved in a later version by someone else, you need to tell them the drivers accessed by your VIs. There's still no guarantee of a successful upgrade due to differences between driver versions as well.

Hi Forum Helpers
I saw that you convert old Vi's to be compatible with Labview 8.5.1. Actually I have a Vi with some sub vi, which have been written in Labview 5.1 and I can not open it with Labview 8.5.1.
I would be grateful if you help me.
Thanks a lot in advance for your favour.

Hi Mike
Thanks a lot for your favour.
But you converted Vi's for Labview 7.1, Isn't there any problem when I want to load them with Labview 8.5.1?
Best Regards
Amin

Hi Amin,
